Robert Provenzano, MD, FACP

Dr. Provenzano is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. He is the Chief of the Section of Nephrology, Hypertension, and Transplantation. He is also the Director of Nephrology Research at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit, where he assisted in the development and implementation of the Early Renal Insufficiency Clinic (ERIC), serving over 40,000 CKD patients. He has served the renal community as President of the Renal Physicians Association, Renal Network 11, the National Kidney Foundation of Trustees, and the Great Lakes Transplantation Association. Dr. Provenzano is the CEO of an integrated multispecialty, multistate practice focusing on ESRD & CKD care in Michigan, Colorado, Idaho, and Oregon. He is also the Vice President of Medical Affairs at DaVita and a member of OCMO — in this capacity, he oversees acute dialysis services as well as ACO and physician compliance.

Jeffrey Hymes, MD

Dr. Hymes is a graduate of Yale College and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He served his medical internship and residency at Yale New Haven Medical Center and received subspecialty training in nephrology at Boston University. Dr. Hymes is board certified in Internal Medicine, Nephrology, and Critical Care. He was a co-founder of REN Corporation in 1986 and National Nephrology Associates (NNA) in 1998. Dr. Hymes served as NNA’s President and Chief Medical Officer from 1998 to 2004. Dr. Hymes is the President of Nephrology Associates, a 32-physician nephrology practice caring for over 1700 dialysis patients in 21 clinics. He is also the Associate Chief Medical Officer for Fresenius Medical Care of North America and Chairman of its Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee.

Gerald T. Miron

Mr. Miron serves as the Chief Financial Officer for Arizona Health Sciences Center (AHSC), which includes the Colleges of Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Public Health — as well as the University Medical Center. Mr. Miron has over 30 years of experience in all phases of healthcare, financial management, strategic planning, and business development. He has an extensive and diverse background in healthcare delivery within a managed care integrated system, including hospitals, group medical practices, independent physician practices, and health maintenance organizations. He is highly skilled in all aspects of financial analysis, capital markets, general management, administration, and information systems. Mr. Miron takes an innovative and responsive approach to corporate and human needs — establishing consensus and negotiating pragmatic solutions in a collaborative team environment. He has demonstrated the ability to successfully articulate complex financial and business information to diverse audiences and educate physicians, board members, senior management, employees, and business partners.
